1. Introduction and Scope
   Gasbarre Media LLC (“Gasbarre Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the website located at thekrissylist.com and kristinegasbarre.com and their related pages, newsletters, videos, feeds, and features (collectively, the “Site”), how we use and share that information, and the choices available to you.
   
   This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information you provide to third parties, including government websites, manufacturers, retailers, marketplaces, payment processors, social media platforms, or video hosting services, even where we link to them or embed their content. Those parties maintain their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
   
   By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
    

2. Information We Collect
   (a) Information you provide directly. We collect information you choose to give us, such as: your email address and any name you supply when you subscribe to a newsletter or alert; the content of messages, questions, tips, comments, or documents you send or post; your name, billing and shipping address, email, and telephone number when you place an order; and any other information you volunteer in correspondence with us.
   
   (b) Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and service providers may automatically record technical information, including your IP address, approximate location derived from that address, browser type and version, operating system and device type, screen resolution, referring and exit URLs, pages and articles viewed, search terms entered on the Site, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies, log files, pixels, and similar technologies described in Section 3.
   
   (c) Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our email service provider (for example, whether a newsletter was delivered, opened, or clicked), our analytics and advertising partners, our payment processor (transaction confirmation and limited card details such as the last four digits and expiration date), affiliate networks (that a purchase attributable to a link occurred), and social media platforms if you interact with our accounts or content there.
   
   (d) Sensitive information. We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or financial account credentials. Please do not send us sensitive personal information, including detailed medical or health information about yourself or another person, through the Site or by email. See Section 10.
    

3. Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies
   A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies for the following purposes: (a) strictly necessary functions, such as page delivery, security, load balancing, and remembering items in a shopping cart; (b) preferences, such as remembering your settings or that you have dismissed a notice; (c) analytics, to understand which articles, recall notices, and videos are read or watched and how visitors move through the Site; and (d) advertising and affiliate attribution, to measure the performance of advertisements and to credit referred purchases.
   
   Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings, and you can generally set your browser to notify you when a cookie is placed. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies and will honor your consent choices.
    

4. How We Use Information
   We use the information described above to: operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; publish and deliver educational content, including recall summaries, FDA daily updates, and other Government Content; send newsletters, alerts, and administrative or transactional messages; respond to your questions, comments, and requests; process, fulfill, and support orders; measure and improve the performance of our content, newsletters, videos, advertising, and affiliate links; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms and Conditions; compile aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not identify you; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our legal rights.
   
   We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not sell your personal information for money.
    

5. Newsletter and Email Analytics
   If you subscribe to a newsletter or alert, we store your email address, the date and source of your subscription, and your subscription preferences with our email service provider. Our emails may contain tracking pixels and tagged links that record whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked, and the general device and location from which it was opened. We use this information to measure engagement, remove inactive addresses, and improve content.
   
   You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us using Section 20. After you unsubscribe we may retain a record of your email address on a suppression list so that we do not email you again. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not stop transactional messages about an order you have placed. You can generally prevent open-tracking by configuring your email client to block remote images.
    

6. Video and Embedded Content
   Videos and other multimedia on the Site may be hosted or served by third-party platforms. When a page containing embedded content loads, or when you play a video, that platform may set its own cookies, receive your IP address and device information, and record what you watched, in accordance with its own privacy policy and regardless of whether you have an account with it. We do not control and are not responsible for those practices. If you are signed in to such a platform, it may associate your viewing with your account.
    

7. Purchases and Payment Information
   Where we sell products directly, payment is processed by third-party payment processors. Your full payment card number and security code are transmitted to and handled by the processor; Gasbarre Media does not receive or store full payment card numbers. We retain order records, including the items purchased, amount, date, shipping and billing address, and limited card identifiers, for fulfillment, customer service, accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
   
   Where a purchase is fulfilled by a third-party merchant or marketplace reached through a link on the Site, you are transacting with that party and providing your information directly to it under its own privacy policy
    

8. Advertising, Affiliate, and Analytics Partners
   We may work with analytics providers, advertising networks, and affiliate networks that use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on the Site and, in some cases, across other websites over time. This may be used to measure audience size and content performance, to serve advertisements that are more relevant to you, and to attribute a purchase to a referring link.
   
   Depending on your state of residence, sharing information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable law even though no money is exchanged. You may opt out as described in Sections 12 and 13. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org, and you may manage your Google advertising settings through your Google Account.
    

9. How We Share Information
   We share personal information only as follows: (a) with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as web hosting, content delivery, email distribution, analytics, customer support, order fulfillment, and payment processing, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us; (b) with advertising and affiliate partners as described in Section 8; (c) when you direct us to, such as when you submit a comment intended for publication; (d) in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, subject to this Privacy Policy or a successor policy; (e) to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or a lawful request by a government or regulatory authority; and (f) where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gasbarre Media, our users, or the public, or to investigate suspected fraud or a violation of our Terms and Conditions.
   
   We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information, which does not identify any individual, for any lawful purpose. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
    

10. Health-Related Information — Not HIPAA-Covered
    Gasbarre Media is not a health care provider, health plan, or health care clearinghouse, and is not a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). Information you send us is not protected health information under HIPAA and is not subject to HIPAA’s privacy and security requirements.
    
    If you send us a message, comment, question, or tip that describes a symptom, diagnosis, medication, device, adverse event, or other health matter, that information will be handled under this Privacy Policy and may be stored in our email and support systems. Please do not send us health information you wish to keep confidential, and do not send health information about another identifiable person. If you publish health information in a public comment or submission, it becomes visible to others and we cannot control how it is used. Adverse events should be reported to the FDA and to your healthcare provider, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
     

11. Your Choices
    You may: unsubscribe from newsletters and alerts at any time; decline to provide information, understanding that some features may then be unavailable; refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; block email open-tracking by disabling remote images; opt out of interest-based advertising as described in Section 8; and contact us at the address in Section 20 to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you. We will honor such requests as required by applicable law and, where the law does not require it, will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them.
     

12. State Privacy Rights
    Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, and residents of other states with comparable laws, may have some or all of the following rights, subject to the exceptions and verification requirements of the applicable statute:
    
    (a) to know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it; (b) to correct inaccurate personal information; (c) to request deletion of personal information we hold about you; (d) to obtain a portable copy of information you provided to us; (e) to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising; (f) to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and (g) not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
    
    To exercise a right, contact us using Section 20 with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you wish to exercise and the state in which you reside. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, generally by asking you to respond from the email address associated with your information. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, typically forty-five (45) days, and may extend that period where permitted. If we deny your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
    
    California residents may additionally request, once per calendar year, a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code § 1798.83 (“Shine the Light”). We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
     

13. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
    Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. Because no common industry standard for interpreting that signal has been adopted, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track headers. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information from the browser and device transmitting it.
     

14. Children’s Privacy
    The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us using Section 20 and we will take prompt action.
     

15. Data Retention
    We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe, after which a suppression record is kept indefinitely to honor your opt-out. Order and transaction records are retained for the period required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law. Correspondence and submissions are retained as long as needed to respond and to maintain our records. Server logs and analytics data are retained for a limited period consistent with our providers’ default settings. We may retain information longer where necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
     

16. Security
    We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information in our custody, including encryption of the Site in transit, access controls, and reliance on established service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information. You transmit information to us at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any password you use in connection with the Site. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
     

17. Third-Party Links
    The Site links extensively to government agency pages, manufacturer notices, news outlets, retailers, and marketplaces. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party website, and Gasbarre Media has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the privacy practices, content, or security of those sites. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit through a link on the Site.
     

18. Users Outside the United States
    The Site is operated from and hosted in the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction, and you consent to that transfer and processing. We do not offer the Site to, or knowingly target, individuals in jurisdictions where doing so would subject us to registration or representation requirements we have not satisfied.
     

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on the Site and update the “Last Updated” date above. If we make material changes to how we use or share personal information, we will provide additional notice, such as a notice on the Site or an email to newsletter subscribers, where required by law. Your continued use of the Site after the revised Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
